Montclair community food gardening and free pantries

Montclair Mutual Aid supports local community food gardens and local Little Free Pantries.
Montclair Community Farms (montclaircommunityfarms.org, info@montclaircommunityfarms.org) engages the community through farming, food, and health. Volunteers grow and harvest fresh, organic produce and distribute locally. Community members can also engage through summer Farm Camp, festivals, Chicken Club, school outreach, and other events.
Partnering with the Northeast Earth Coalition (neearth.org, @neearthcoalition), local community gardeners gather to plant, water, weed, and harvest vegetables. There are community food gardens at Mt. Carmel Church, Crane Park, First Congregational Church, Union Congregational Church, and other area locations. The harvested food is donated to Toni’s Kitchen (toniskitchen.org, @tonis.kitchen) to feed our neighbors.
