Food insecurity in Montclair

Hi All! Many people have expressed interest in helping address food insecurity and hunger in our area. We’re thinking about starting a new Montclair Mutual Aid project on this issue. We don’t yet know what the project will be — but we want anyone who is interested to get involved and discuss ideas.

Lackawanna Station grocery store? Food coop? Free store? Free pantry/kitchen support? Shopping transportation? Farm share? Community supported agriculture? … And what else? What do people in our community need?

We’ll start a discussion and see where it goes. Potential leaders and participants, you’re invited!
